The new single‑storey teaching block at Kennet School replaces outdated accommodation with six efficient, daylight‑rich classrooms. From concept we collaborated closely with the BREEAM assessor to embed credits into the architecture, services, specification and site strategy, targeting an ‘Excellent’ rating without compromising teaching quality or budget.
Our role progressed into a full Building Regulations package and site oversight, ensuring details were built as designed, with careful attention to thermal performance, ventilation, daylighting and durable, low‑maintenance materials suited to school life.
