About the project

Our design for the Brentwood Crematorium & Cemetery focuses on dignity, calm and ease of use. A clear procession from arrival to ceremony is framed by planting, natural materials and soft daylight, creating spaces that support quiet reflection. The scheme prioritises inclusive, step-free access, intuitive wayfinding and discreet service routes to maintain the tranquillity of the grounds.

Low-maintenance finishes, energy-efficient lighting and coordinated landscape enhancements reduce whole-life costs while respecting the character of the site. Planning consent was secured and the technical design package was progressed to Tender, providing the client with a robust, build-ready set of information.
